HUNTER – X

“SECRETS”

 

There are many things we are uncertain of.  Things that remain unknown and thing that others want to keep as secrets in believing that it would protect us.  Yet it is only us who can truly contemplate what would make us have the illusion of safety since no one is completely safe.

 

THE CITY

 

Paul was walking home that same night he felt his newfound heart broken.  He wasn’t expecting anything to happen until a group of renegade “Vamps” jumped out to attack him.

 

These renegades did not think so highly of him.  Though Paul had a direct linage to Dracula they despised this half-breed.  At that point of stress Paul’s heart raced and a mystifying glow surrounded him.  With a quick motion Paul grabbed on the pier’s wooden handrails and tore of a piece and quickly trusted it into the still-heart of the Vamp.  His Hunter blood coursed through his body as he strove to kill each and every one of these creatures.  Before he could have done anything else, Paul got control of his self and only struck the stake into one of the Vamp’s leg.  The others ran leaving their companion to his fate.

 

Paul left this creature there pleading for help.  He had barely walked a block in to the dark midnight’s wake until decided to walk back.  Nothing.  Paul saw no one or anything around, he saw no signs of any other Vamps coming back to save this creature.

 

AT A SECRET LOCATION

 

The fallen Vamp lies on a bed barely getting consciousness.  He was surrounded by military figures looking and taking notes.  The creature became hungry at the sight of so many humans so close.  He lunged towards the human only to be held back by other typed of creatures he only have heard of from the old Vampire scriptures.

 

He saw around him many other vampires being observed, so this renegade screamed out in an non-understandable scream that seemed to have excited the other captives.  A shadowed figure came in front this renegade and with a quick shot to the head laid the creature unconscious. 

 

THE PENTAGON

 

Forty stories below the five-sided structure, a man receives a call.

 

“Sir we have enough of them to complete phase one of the experiment.”

 

“Very Well, proceed” replied the figure in the shadows. 

 

He stepped out of the office and on his trip back up to the ground level; he saw many things that the regular person only dreamed of.  Aliens, Bigfoot, Telepaths, and the list goes on and on held with in a hidden area of the Pentagon only a few people are privileged to see.

 

CITY

 

Paul went on his way can’t help it feel that he was being watched.  He wasn’t wrong, all around him and especially above him powerful surveillance cameras followed him.  Ever since his birth these cameras has been following him.  Keeping a close eye on this person trying to learn the most they can about him.

 

PENTAGON

 

The shadowed figure who received the call opened up the file marked V-X and read out loud to a crowed of people some specifications.

 

“Super Human Strength, Heightened senses, Healing Capabilities and not to mention almost Immortal………” after a short pause he continued.

 

“These are the things that he have observed on this subject.  He is part vampire, just imagine what we would have on our hands if we could recreate the circumstances that created him in the first place.”

 

The meeting adjourned right after he talked.  One of the female members of the board walked out.  She got in her car and drove off.
