5 - The Hunt

In a dark secluded room in a large mansion, a figure in a black cloak stood watching the video of the Raptor’s encounter, as other figures stood around.  The figure in the black cloak spoke softly “Tell Hunter # 25 that her test was of my liking” Then after he spoke the door open again the figure that stole the Mona Lisa stood there.  She removed her mask and bowed politely in front of the figure in black.

“You’re the head of this mission 25,” said one of the men around the black cloak. 

She left the room and once again the figure in black spoke. “Get someone to look after her.  I think her age will pose a problem for us.”  Another figure went into the room.          “Well Assassin 12 watch her close, see if she will hide anything from me” continued the cloaked figure.

            Then the door closed and there stood Hunter 25 thinking of her next move.  “How can I do this after all he has done.”  Though confused, she gave the order for step two of the test. She tossed a folder marked CARBON COPY.  There in that folder lies the detail on Raptor’s next test. 

            The next night a group of these Hunters prepared for another job, but this time their only goal is to draw blood.  Hunter 25 stood a top a building acting as if she was going to jump, then Raptor showed up.

            “Hey there, what are doing all the way up here?” Raptor said trying to ease the situation.  He took her hand into his and aided her down.  When she reached a safe distance a hailstorm of men jumped from every direction.  Each wielding a weapon and began to attack.  Raptor managed to fend of a few attackers but then caught from behind by 25.  As he tried to stand up, the barrage continued. “STOP,” ordered 25, and there half conscious lay the fallen-hero.  She drew a gun, took aim and fired.
