Breaking Away
Chapter 4

By Kit

A request fiction
AN: This happened during MY HEART IN YOUR HANDS- a little insert, but this is a fic that will stand alone

Location: Africa
1700 Hours

Michael walked out of the airport and into a taxi, giving the directions to the man- he had specifically asked the airport to provide him a man who can speak slight English.

They reached the Foundlings land and Michael saw the rubble that was once a building inside yellow tapes…

He had researched some more inside the airplane, so he knows where the man- Frank Parks- lives… If there’s anyone who knows where Dorothy is… it’ll be him…

The taxi moved on and then finally stopped in front of a small well-maintained house.

"Thanks." Michael said as he gave more than enough money to pay for his fare before getting his duffel bag and his laptop.

‘Good, a doorbell.’ He thought a little sarcastically as he pressed on it.

An African woman answered the door and Michael gave a slight prayer that she can understand English.

"I want to see Frank Parks please."

The woman frowned, "The master?

"Who is it, Jyeade?" a voice asked from behind.

The woman turned, "Someone is looking for you, sir."

"I’ll take care of it."

Michael saw the woman give a slight bow before leaving and a man in his late 40’s appeared by the door.

"Frank Parks?" Michael asked, though he knows that this is the man from the pictures he saw on his computer.

"Yes, that would be me. May I ask who you are and what you need?"

"My name is Michael Glessnor. I’m a friend of Dorothy’s and I’m looking for her."

Frank frowned as he opened the door wider. "How did you know that she’s here?"

Michael gave a sarcastic grin. "Amanda told me that she had a flight to Africa… Foundlings was bombed today, and it wasn’t hard to put two and two together since I saw some threat letters in her house…"

"Dorothy received threat letters?!" Frank asked in surprise.

Michael frowned, "Didn’t you know?"

"Dammit! I didn’t!" Frank replied as he opened the screen door for Michael. "Come in Michael. Tell me what you know."

Michael stepped inside. "I don’t know much except that Dorothy is in danger… Now where is she?"

Frank sighed as he sat down on a chair. "Probably in their hands right now… I’m hoping that she’s still alive."

Michael nearly dropped his computer, his heart nearly stopping. "WHAT?!"

Frank looked up at him. "She left after 12 this afternoon… she said that she was…" his voice trailed as he remembered the envelope he gave her. "Shit!!!"

"What is it?!" Michael asked. He doesn’t want to think that Dorothy might be… No… she’s not yet… She couldn’t be…

"I gave her an envelope this afternoon, and right after that, she came out and told me that they were asking for her…"

"Damn bloody hell!" Michael shouted as his grip on his baggage tightened. "Do you know where she went?"

Frank shook his head.

Michael closed his eyes… If he thinks realistically… there’s no chance that Dorothy’s still alive… But he doesn’t want to think that way… He’s going to find her…

He opened his eyes. "Let’s go."

Frank blinked. "What?"

"We’re going to find her." Michael said as he walked towards the door.

"Michael, they are terrorists-"

"Yeah, and they just took Dorothy! I’m not going to sit still and not do something about it!"

Frank’s wise eyes saw through Michael’s anger and understood… "I don’t know how to fight, Michael." Frank said sadly. "If I do, I’ll gladly go with you."

Michael’s eyebrow shot up. He knows that Frank was a part of Oz and White Fang upon further research… but he doesn’t know how to fight?

"I was in research during the war. I was never good in fighting." Frank answered the unsaid question.

"Can you drive?" Michael asked instead.

Frank snorted, "Of course I can."

"Then that’s all I need you for." Michael replied before going out of the house.

Frank quickly followed, grabbing another set of keys and led Michael to the garage.

As soon as they sat down, Michael opened his laptop and showed the screen to Frank.

"Do you know where that is?"

Frank studied the map and finally nodded.

"Good, go there, but stop about a mile away…"

Frank nodded and started the car while Michael glanced up in the darkening sky.

‘Dorothy… Please God, I hope she’s alright…’ he prayed.

~*~

Leaves crunched under their feet as they walked through the forest, their way lighted only by the moon.

"Stop." Michael said as he dropped to his knees and opened his laptop once again.

"What are you doing?" Frank whispered from behind.

"I’m trying to locate satellite frequencies… If they are using computers, which I think they are because Dorothy said that someone hacked into Foundling’s files, then I should be able to find an antennae, or satellite and locate it and tap into their main systems…"

"You can do all that?!" Frank asked in wonder.

Michael just nodded, intent on what’s he’s doing.

Frank watched as pictures after pictures showed itself on the small screen, finally a long line with a huge dot appeared. Michael looked up.

"It’s right over there."

Without even a word, Michael walked towards a patch of bush. Frank followed and watched as Michael took out a bush and revealed steel.

He reached Michael just in time to see him take off a panel and play with the wires, connecting his own computer. He wants to ask how he knew what to do but he didn’t as he watched the sandy haired man type furiously and saw numbers and symbols appear on the screen.

"Tapped in…" Michael whispered.

Data appeared on the monitor, and pictures of men in Oz and White Fang appeared. He didn’t even count…

Frank frowned. "What are they all doing there?"

Michael kept on silent… ‘If a group of old enemies are in one place, it only means trouble… what is your mission?’ he asked, hacking in deeper into the files… Then, he saw it…

REVENGE

Pictures of Heero, Duo, Quatre, Trowa and Wufei, then of Dorothy and Relena showed itself.

‘So they’re not only after Dorothy!’ They’re also after the others… his friends!

Michael felt butterflies in his stomach… He frowned as he made all 7 pictures come up on the screen… Relena’s and Dorothy’s pictures have a red background while the others had black… could it be because they’re girls… or could it be because… Relena was, after all, announced officially dead a few days ago… He stopped himself, not wanting to think of the same fate for his Dorothy.

"I’m going to tap into their security system."

Frank didn’t say anything. He watched as pictures after pictures of rooms, some with men in dark green shirts and black pants, others without, and then, a picture of the clearing!

"Dammit! They have one around here!" Michael muttered.

They looked around, and Frank caught sight of a red blinking light. "Over there!" he whispered.

Michael followed the hand and saw it. "I’m going to take it down. You stay here."

Michael stealthily moved through the shadows and Frank watched as he reached the tree and climbed it. Then, the red blinking light is no more…

A few minutes later, Michael came back. He didn’t give Frank a second glance as he faced his monitor, intent on finding Dorothy… Once again, pictures appeared on his screen and he almost missed that one picture-

It was so dark that you can barely see it, but on the floor, a form merging with the shadows… and golden hair…

"There she is." Frank whispered thankfully.

Michael gritted his jaw. They’ve knocked her unconscious again… "Damn them all." He muttered in anger. "I’m going down there to get her." He turned off his computer then faced Frank. "But right now, I’m going to set these around first." Michael took his duffel bag and opened it to reveal bombs, TNT’s and a remote control.

Frank’s eyebrows shot up. "How did you get that past security?"

Michael just shrugged as he placed two guns with silencers in his belt, "I have connections." He said. Yep… he sure does… He got all of these from Heero’s stash inside their plane… Thank God for Heero’s always be prepared streak!

Michael was about to stand up when he felt a hand on his shoulder. "I’ll do that if you want."

Michael looked at Frank, "Are you sure you can do this?"

Frank grinned, "I was in nuclear and bombs research. This is something I know best… Besides, you’re going to waste time if you do this on your own. This way, while you get Dorothy, I’ll be setting them up and it will be ready."

Michael nodded. "Alright." He stood up, leaving the bag with Frank when he stopped once again, reaching a decision. He stared Frank in the eyes.

"Frank, once you see Dorothy without me… Take her out of here… And…" Michael swallowed. "And bomb this whole place… Don’t worry about me."

Frank wanted to shake his head, but he saw something in Michael’s eyes that made him agree, even against his will. "Are you sure?"

Michael nodded. He’s going to fight like hell to get her out… Besides, she’s got her own company and Foundlings- a lot of people are counting on her… While him… he’s only a lazy vice president… who doesn’t have anyone who loves him.

"You know the perimeters?" he asked before going.

Frank nodded. "Got them."

Then Michael left, going to the location where his computer told him the elevator would be. He kicked a patch of grass away and saw the metal dome with numbers. He punched in the numbers that he got from the computer and a whirring sound started…

A minute later, a cylindrical elevator appeared and opened…

‘This is it…’ Michael thought as he took a deep breath and then stepped inside…

~*~

He stepped out into the hallways, a gun already held in his hands… He tried to remember how Heero had trained back then… Move with the shadows…

Michael tried to retain the base layout information he had studied just a while ago and prayed to God that he was going the right way… He breathed a sigh of relief as he reached the steps that should lead to the cells without meeting anyone…

He checked the small barred cells one by one and finally saw Dorothy’s form in the last one… As quickly as he could, he typed in a few numbers, trying to gain access to open the cell…

‘Damn!!! Why didn’t I hack this info out before!!!’ he asked himself as he typed frantically.

~*~

Ward leaned over the vid phone an image of one of his men appeared.

"Check on the prisoner."

The man nodded, "Yes sir!"

~*~

Michael stopped himself from shouting out as the bars swished open… He went inside and saw Dorothy lying on the floor on her side, her long blonde hair covering half her body.

He kneeled down and tenderly placed an arm under her neck and then brought her to his chest while brushing her hair back with his other hand.

"Dorothy?" he whispered as he rubbed her cheek. "Dorothy wake up…" he shook her shoulder a little…

He saw a slight frown appear on her face… "Dorothy…" he whispered once again… He can’t waste any time… maybe he should shake her… but he just doesn’t have the heart to do it…

Dorothy felt the ache at the back of her neck and frowned. Then, she heard someone whisper her name… She knows that voice… Michael!

Her eyes opened wide and her blue eyes met his hazel ones. "Michael?" her voice, hoarse, whispered out.

Michael smiled down at her as he kissed her forehead. "Hey, nice to those baby blue eyes again…"

Dorothy brought her hand up to her temple. "How did you-"

"Ssh! No time for that now, we need to get out of here…" Michael said as he stood up and then leaned over to offer his hand. Dorothy reached out for him, happiness filling her as the warmth of his hand encompassed her and he pulled her up…

‘I don’t know how you got here… But I’m glad…’ she thought as she moved outside the cell…

Suddenly, Michael stopped as he came face to face with a soldier. Dorothy nearly bumped into him…

Both their eyes widened, and both reached for their guns- but Michael was faster as he brought his gun out and pulled the trigger.

Dorothy saw the action but there wasn’t anytime to waste as Michael pulled her. "Let’s go!!! If anybody finds him, we’re dead!"

She didn’t listen to Michael as she walked to the soldier and then took his gun. "No, Michael… I have to stop this." then ran up the stairs.

"Dorothy wait!!!" Michael shouted as he ran after her… ‘Dammit to hell woman!!! Why don’t you ever stop to listen first!!!’

They disappeared just as the soldier Michael had shot came through. He painfully stood up and walked towards a panel, punching a red button before falling down dead on the floor.

~*~

Michael grimaced as he heard the alarms and saw the lights flicker on and off… "Dorothy stop!!! Dammit!!!"

Alarms…

He finally reached her and grabbed her shoulder, shaking her. "Listen to me!!! There are bombs placed all over the perimeter already!!! This whole place will be blown up!!!"

Dorothy’s eyes widened… "Why the hell didn’t you tell me before?!"

"Because you didn’t give me the chance!!!" Michael snapped back. Suddenly, his eyes widened as Dorothy slanted her eyes and put her gun up to Michael’s face.

"What the-!"

BANG!!!

"Ungh!"

The sickening sound of a body dropping made Michael turn around and saw a man on the floor. Then he turned to look at a stone-faced Dorothy, grabbed her hand and then pulled her to a run. "Let’s go!"

But they didn’t get any farther as five more men appeared from either end of the corridor.

Michael pushed Dorothy into a wedge in the wall, crushing her inside as he pushed himself in and started firing at them, his aim straight and true.

He grabbed Dorothy’s hand once again and pulled her to a run.

"Michael! Let go! We’ll be able to run faster if you don’t hold my hand! I can fight too you know!!!" Dorothy cried out as she pulled her hand away from Michael’s just in time to bring her gun up and shoot at a soldier that suddenly appeared.

"Fine!" Michael snapped back, already a little bit angry.

Dorothy felt her anger spark, "Fine!"

"Fine!" Michael replied.

"Shut up!" Dorothy cried as she dropped on to the floor, just as Michael did and shot one of the soldiers in their way while Michael shot the other.

They stood up and Michael threw down his gun, his bullets already used up, while he took the other one out.

More men came out from behind. Both Dorothy and Michael started shooting at them.

"The elevator is just up front!!! Get on it!!!" Michael ordered.

Dorothy stubbornly shook her head. She’s got a score to settle with Ward, and by God, she’ll settle it!

"Dorothy!!!"

"Michael! Do you see that man in the middle?" Dorothy shouted from above the shooting.

Michael nodded. He looked to the direction they were supposed to be going and saw a dead end… other than the elevator- the only exit in this hell…

"What about him?"

"He’s the leader!!!"

Suddenly, the hail of bullets stopped…

Michael quickly grabbed Dorothy’s hand and then ran towards the elevator… He knows for a fact that it can only carry one person… But he’s only planning for one person to come up first, anyway…

"Michael what are you doing!!!" Dorothy cried out as the soldiers behind them started shooting at them from behind the walls. "We’re in plain sight, damn you!"

Michael didn’t answer as he reached the open elevator, pushed Dorothy inside, nearly making her collide with the wall, and then pushed the close button.

Dorothy quickly turned around just in time to see Michael’s serious face before the door closed.

Her eyes widened. "No!!!!"

She heard the pinging sound of bullets against metal… felt the elevator move and she looked around for the control panel in panic.

"No!!! No!!! Michael!!!!" she cried out in panic as she faced the door, giving up on looking for the panel and started kicking it.

She almost fell forward when the door suddenly opened and she saw the clearing she was in before but she didn’t move out of the elevator as she turned once again to the wall and tried to find the controls. Hands splayed, palm down, heart throbbing… but… no bumps or anything!

"Damn you! Damn you! Damn you!!!!" She muttered with as much venom as she could, trying not to think of what could be happening to Michael…

She was suddenly jerked backward and her hand instantly balled into a fist, ready to punch when Frank’s face came to view.

"Dorothy!"

Dorothy stopped herself just in time. "Frank! Help me!" she gasped out… Michael’s down there far too long… in plain sight!!!

The ground shook and she heard a muffled booming sound from below, increasing her panic.

"FRANK! HELP ME!" she shouted in frustration.

Frank bit his lip… He felt the ground shake… Trouble. He quickly grabbed Dorothy’s arm and started pulling her away from the elevator.

"No!!! Stop! Frank!" Dorothy cried out as she struggled against Franks’ hold. But she never knew how strong her accomplice was… Frank’s hold on her tightened, and she was literally being dragged away from Michael…

She gasped in air. Her throat suddenly felt so thick. "Frank! Please stop!" she cried out once again.

But Frank didn’t listen to her pleading tone… He reached the jeep and pushed her inside… He has a job to do… He can’t let Michael down… Not after he got Dorothy out…

He started the jeep, still holding on to Dorothy’s arm because she tried to get out and started speeding to a safe distance…

Dorothy suddenly felt her body grow weak, aware only of one thing… Michael… He’s still inside… and they’re leaving him! He might need their help!

Frank reached below his seat and took out a handle with a single button just as Dorothy glanced at Frank to plead yet once again… To plead as she had never in her entire life… but her eyes caught sight of the button… She eyed it in confusion, and then she remembered Michael saying that the whole place is…

Her eyes widened as she watched Frank push the button-

A loud explosion erupted from behind and Dorothy jerked forward, nearly banging her head against the windshield…

Her heart stopped as she looked back behind her and saw a cloud of smoke going up from the location they had just left…

‘No…’ her mind cried out and her breath came in faster… She shook her head slowly, her whole body suddenly numb… It was as if something broke inside her as she saw that brown cloud of dust-

"NO!!!!" she screamed out hysterically. "Turn this car around!!! Frank!!! I order you to turn this around!!! NOW!!!"

Frank tried his best not to listen.

A sob escaped Dorothy’s lips.

Michael.

"Please… Please… Please… Frank… Please…’ Her body rocked but no tears fell from her eyes as she grabbed Frank’s shoulders, trying to make him turn to face her…

He didn’t listen… He didn’t turn around… Dorothy’s head slowly shook and her hands fell to her side…

A hump… the gun…

Her hands shook as she took it out. She didn’t know what had come over her… Desperation? She didn’t care… One thing she learned during the war… People values their life… She grabbed hold of its handle and slowly pointed the barrel at Frank’s temple.

"Turn around now, Frank." Dorothy said, her voice clear and cold.

Frank took a chance and looked at Dorothy only to stare into the muzzle of a gun barrel…

He forced himself not to shake… She wouldn’t do it… would she?

"You know what I can do…" Dorothy threatened once again… She needs to get back there… Michael…

Frank didn’t turn around…

Dorothy pulled the trigger and the sound echoed throughout the forest…

Frank turned around to face Dorothy, his nerves shaken.

"The next time I pull the trigger, the bullet will be in your head… Turn around."

Frank bit his lip… He’s no coward… But he could see the pain in Dorothy’s eyes… And… there’s a chance that there wouldn’t be any more danger… a chance that Michael might still be alive…

Against his will, he turned the car around and zoomed back to the place they left.

~*~

She stared at the cracked ground that formed a dip in the clearing… at the elevator that was standing a while ago and now, fallen over… at the trees that are leaning, not standing straight and tall…

Reality is hard to accept… But reality is right in front of her… Nobody could have survived that blast… The underground base is caved in…

She tried to fight against it… She tried so hard and yet… she doesn’t seem to have the strength anymore…

Her vision clouded and she closed her eyes as pain like no other numbed her to the core…

She drew in a shuddering breath…

Two streaks of warm liquid trailed down on her cheeks, and a heart wrenching sound escaped her lips as she fell on her knees and cried…

For the very first time, Frank watched as the strong willed woman he had always admired sobbed in agony on the ground. And yet, nobody could do anything…

"Dorothy…" Frank whispered as he took a step forward. They need to get out of here… Sooner or later, someone will come here… and if they see them, they’ll ask questions…

"Stay away from me…" Dorothy whispered in a cold voice through her sobs. "Leave me alone."

"I…"

"Please… just leave me alone…" she whispered, this time pleading… She doesn’t want to go… She wants to stay here… Here where Michael is buried alive… Here where he had died…

Died saving her…

Frank’s heart ached for her… But he turned around and walked towards the jeep to wait.

Dorothy opened her eyes as she looked at the clearing once again…

‘Michael…’ she thought numbly as she tried to envision his face… His words came back to her…

"I want to marry you, make love with you, make a family with you and live to the old age with you…"

"Liar…" she whispered as she punched the ground. "Liar, liar, liar, liar, liar!!!" she cried out as she punched the ground with each word…

Then… she stopped… She can’t blame him… can she? So much anger, pain and sadness… So much that she feels as if she’ll go crazy…

She doesn’t even have any pictures of him… Nothing…

Nothing… Just memories…

His smile… his touch… the comfort in his arms that she had once thought she didn’t need…

But she does need it… She needs him…

Michael…

Those words had meant so much to her… she had unconsciously looked forward to a future with him…

And now he’s gone…

She leaned over her knees and touched her forehead to her fists on the ground as another sob escaped her lips…

She didn’t ask for his help…

‘Damn you Michael!!! I didn’t ask for help!!!’ she thought as she cried and yet deep inside her, she knows that he did it for her…

"Dorothy…?"

Dorothy gasped as she heard her name called out by a voice she’d never thought she would hear… She looked up and saw, covered in dust from head to toe, Michael … hair mussed… blood dripping down his arm.

She stared at him numbly… "Michael…?"

Michael stared at Dorothy in confusion… He could see her crying, and yet, wasn’t it only today when she had said that she never cried… He was able to get out of the base through the elevator right after he threw a grenade at the men… and he ran out of the clearing as fast as he could. He felt the ground shake just as he heard the clear explosion. But he wasn’t able to get out as fast and he was thrown into a tree, knocking him unconscious while dust fell down on his body… He just came to a few moments ago… and he wanted to be sure that the base was completely destroyed… and he sees Dorothy here?

"I thought I told Frank to take you away from here?" he asked in confusion… He doesn’t want to think that those tears are meant for him… No, that will be hoping too high…

Those words snapped back the reality in Dorothy… ‘Yes… you did!!!’ she thought in anger as she stood up in blazing fury…

Michael watched as Dorothy walked to him, anger radiating in her clear blue eyes.

Dorothy stopped just in front of him, and in lightning speed, punched Michael on the jaw.

"YOU BASTARD!!! YOU DAMNABLE IGNORANT BASTARD!!!" Dorothy cried out as she watched Michael fall down on the ground from her punch.

Michael shook his head, trying to stay awake… "Dammit Dorothy!!! What did you punch me for?!!!" he asked as he looked up at her… He was nearly knocked unconscious!!! Again!!!

Dorothy stepped over him and then sat on his stomach while she grabbed his shoulders and shook him while more tears fell down on her cheek.

"WHEN DID I EVER GIVE YOU POWER TO ORDER MY MEN AROUND!!!" Her hand rose up again, ready to give him a hard slap, but Michael caught her hand…

She didn’t stop. "YOU STUPID…" she sobbed as she felt his body under her… He’s alive… and yet she couldn’t stop herself… "I thought you died!!! Dammit!!!"

Michael frowned in confusion…

Tears overflowed her eyes and coursed down her cheek. "GO TO HELL!!! Damn you!"

Her whole body rocked. She couldn’t speak as she tried to stop the sobs that escaped her lips and try to breathe…

Michael reached up to wipe away her tears. "Dorothy, stop crying."

"Shut… up… damn you… just shut up…" she whispered in between sobs.

Michael grinned up at her, trying to make the matter light, "Hey, I thought you said that you never cried?"

The joke seemed only to be lost with her as she cried some more… Just a while ago she had thought that she will never hear his voice any more and now he’s here making a joke of it all…

"Dorothy… please don’t cry… why are you crying anyway?" Michael asked… "Can I help?"

An agonized cry escaped Dorothy as she leaned down and placed her cheek to his chest… She could hear his heartbeat… He’s alive… but she still couldn’t stop herself from crying… She couldn’t…

"I hate you so much, Michael." She whispered under her breath even if what she wanted was to say that she loves him… That she couldn’t stand the thought of loosing him, just as she had felt her world crash around her when she thought he was dead…

Michael couldn’t stop the grin that formed on his lips as he wrapped his arms around Dorothy’s sobbing form… She just said that she hates him… But with the way she’s holding on to him… with the way that she’s crying over his chest… He knew… he knows that she meant the other way around…

"I love you too, Dorothy…" he whispered as he leaned down and kissed her hair…

Dorothy breathed in shakily as she heard him say those words… Joy engulfed her, and she felt herself calming down a little bit as she looked up at him after she felt his kiss on her hair.

"Don’t you dare do that again…" she said almost as a threat.

Michael shook his head. "I can’t promise you that because that’s exactly what I’ll do if you’re in trouble again…" he said truthfully.

Dorothy stared into his clear hazel eyes, showing all the love he has for her… "Then I should warn you… I’m going to kill myself when that happens…" She looked away from him and tightened her hold…

"Michael…" she whispered, almost in a scared way… She is scared… This is the first time she’s ever revealing so much of what she’s feeling… She’s scared and yet she’s also happy… ‘I lo-"

She felt him caress her hair while he placed a finger on her lips stopping what she was about to say… "I know, love… you don’t have to say it right now…" he whispered then he tenderly rubbed her back. "We have to get out of here… This place will be swarmed with people pretty soon…"

Dorothy sighed as she half-heartedly moved away from Michael and stood up. She’s thankful in a way that Michael stopped her… It isn’t that she doesn’t truly love him… but it’s all so… new…

Michael stood up and then reached out to hold Dorothy’s hand… He knows that she still needs a little time to get used to the idea…She’s so used to just doing things on her own… But he’ll wait… And when she’s ready… he’ll marry her…

Although, he must have lost more of his marbles when he was knocked into that tree… I mean, heck! He so badly wanted to hear those words and he just stopped her!

‘Jezus! I’m a stupid fool…’

~*~

Frank’s eyes widened as he saw a very much alive Michael, and Dorothy coming out of the clearing, then he shook his head. Why should he be surprised? He should be happy for the two…

"Hey Michael… Glad you made it."

Michael grinned. "Yeah… Same here…" he answered as he helped Dorothy inside the jeep first and then went on the back.

"Let’s go, Frank… we need to get out of here." Dorothy commanded in her usual tone and Frank nodded.

Michael reached out and touched Dorothy’s shoulder and Dorothy smiled as her own hand came up and touched his while the jeep roared to life and moved.

Michael smiled a little bit… ‘I wonder what Heero will think about this when he gets back with his wife… Ah well… he better get used to the idea… coz I’m still not used to the idea that he’s married…’
